If you wish to become a skip supplier, you will need to meet a number of legal requirements in order to be able to operate with us, which are the following:

  • Being a licensed waste carrier: You will need a certificate of registration as an upper tier waste carrier or broker.
  • Having a storage permit: If you are planning on storing waste within your premises in England and Wales, an environmental permit will be required in order to authorise your site to be a licensed waste transfer station permitted to carry out specified waste-related activities. For this licence, the costs vary depending on the type and amount of waste stored.
  • A legal company registration number,
  • A VAT registration number in order to be able to operate as a supplier for VABVA,
